Hybrid Energy has started building a second heat pump at Norway’s second largest wastewater treatment plant, BEVAS.

The heat pump in question is a HyPAC-R, a two stage hybrid heat pump delivering 800 kW. The heat pump will recover heat from fermented sludge, and supply heat to rotting tanks producing biogas.
